Queen of the Black Coast

“I pay my way with steel!” roared the man in armor, brandishing the
great sword that glittered bluely in the sun. “By Crom, yin, if you don’t
get under way, I’ll drench this galley in the ‘blood of its crew!”

Awesome. I just found a whole heap of Robert Ervin Howard’s Conan the Barbarian pulp novels, thanks to Project Gutenberg. This is where sword-and-sorcery began.

This particular story is Queen of the Black Coast, an undisputed classic, which Howard wrote in 1934.

Brilliant.

Oh, and if you read e-books, but don’t know what Gutenberg is, you’re welcome.
