The Chase

“Which way?”

 

“This way.”

 

“Are you sure?”

 

“Dude, I’m sure, I saw him running.”

 

“I’ll get that little fucker, I’ll get him.”

 

“What’d he even do?”

 

“It doesn’t matter anymore. He’s dead. Motherfucker.”

 

This weekend’s Trifecta Writing Challenge was to write 33 words (ONLY) of a conversation, but to still tell a story. I think I managed, what do you think?

    Teenager/young man I guess?So typical of the gen Y to resort to violence for no apparent reason-or for some silly one!Liked the last line,tells us so much about unreasonable human behaviour.

    Clever. I think you did a great job of telling a story through dialog. We don’t know *exactly* what happened, but you built a great atmosphere here that serves to fill in the blanks. Well done.
